Kate has twenty years of professional experience in the sport horse industry, resulting in an established reputation for her training methods and a loyal client base.  Her apprenticeship consisted of working as a trainer under four recognized grand prix dressage trainers and managing multiple training centers.  She is known for offering high level care to horses and clients, including top competition riders.  Her training philosophy is based on a holistic approach, focusing on the intersections of classical dressage, ground work, biomechanics, and body work for both horse and rider.  With ten years experience in the selection, import and sale of P.R.E. horses from Spain, she is a known resource for Spanish horse enthusiasts buying in the USA and Europe.  Kate has additional business and management experience gained through work in the Virginia wine industry.
