The Barn

The barn is designed in what is known as the "Belmont" style with a riding track around the perimeter.  Although we'll have an indoor ring, the track is wonderful for groundwork, light exercise, and walking horses that need movement to recover from injury or illness.  The barn has 12 oversize stalls (12' x 13.5') back to back in the center, six on each side.  Each stall has inside and outside lights and convenient electrical outlets, along with fans.  Grills allow the horses to see each other and anti-casting boards help your horse get back on his feet.

With five large doors and banks of large windows, the barn has plenty of light and air yet the design ensures the space stays warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer.

The barn includes two heated and airconditioned tack rooms (one for each side), two heated wash stalls, a feed room and a restroom.  Each tack room has a locker (24"x24"x90"), two saddle racks, and multiple bridle hooks for each boarder.  The feed room houses our laundry, where staff will wash and dry your pads and light blankets.  There is also a blanket closet for blanket storage and a blanket drying area for those wet days.

Paddocks and Fields

The farm has multiple double and single turnout paddocks, each with run in sheds and automatic waterers, and two smaller lots for shorter more managed turn out.  We are planning additional dry lots, depending on boarder needs.

In addition, we have a 4 acre field that can accommodate up to four field board horses.  Near the field board area is a metal barn that includes a tack and feed room for field boarders along with covered cross-ties and a wash stall.

Rings

Coming Soon!  This March we'll break ground on an indoor ring with a riding area of 215 x 80 feet, plus an observation room, two bathrooms, and a locker room/storage area.  The schedule calls for eight weeks of construction, so we're expecting the indoor to be operational in May.  The ring will be built on part of what is currently a 280' x 150' outdoor ring, giving us space for  both indoor and outdoor dressage courts.

Ride Out

The farm has access to extensive ride out in the area around Leigh Road, directly accessible from the property.  We're also planning a working equitation challenge course in the area above the current outdoor, so stay tuned!

Lounge and Education Space

Community is central to everything Mandala Dressage is about.  Boarders are invited to relax together in the lounge, which also serves as an education space, video viewing room, and general gathering spot for the Mandala community.
